Brain Farm Shoots the First Ultra High Definition, 4K Aerial Drone Footage

Brain Farm, the production company behind The Art of Flight, and many more action sport films, paired a Phantom Flex4K with an Aerigon UAV to shoot the world's first 4K drone footage. The Phantom Flex4K shoots at 1,000fps at a 4K resolution. Most drones do not have enough power to carry professional cameras, and that's where the Aerigon comes in.

The Art of Flight is my favorite action sport film by Brain Farm, I am excited to see what they will do with a Phantom Flex4K. They will be able to get amazing aerial slow-mo footage where they aren't able to take a full sized helicopter. 

High Speed Robot Meets High Speed Camera

Although this video does not have any animation in it, I thought it was very interesting. These guys designed a robot to move at high speeds while carrying a high speed phantom camera. By moving the high speed camera rapidly around the action being performed you can achieve a super slow motion parallax effect that looks amazing. I love phantom cameras and I am always checking out what people are using them for.
