I watch this guy named Charlie McDonnell on Youtube and in one video he was given the opportunity to visit Pixar and even speak to the director or Toy Story 3, Lee Unkrich. Obviously it's a vlog, so he does talk about himself and his experience and making videos on youtube, but in his more recent videos he has been adding in a little bit of animation to them. They're very simple, not always there and it's nothing complicated like Inception or Toy Story 3
Near the end of the video you can actually play a little "Truth or Fail" game which is based off of true or false facts about Pixar and the movies they've created. You pick the fact that you think is true, and that will take you to another video and that video will tell you if you were right or wrong. Feel free to play it, it's rather fun, I failed big time, but maybe you won't?

So, I just want to let you know that you have the same exact playlist of shows that I watch...from t.v. shows to all the same vlogs. I'll assume you watch the Green brothers, too. But just in case you don't, check them out because they have some really nice animations and videos.
ReplyDeleteHa! I got all except the first one right! I think that some important thoughts are expressed in the interview that he did, specially when he talked to Lee Unkrich. Do what is right, what feels right, what you really like. I love that he says that after work he just goes home to be with his kids and walk around the neighborhood where he is simply one of us and not a super-hyped self-important jerk so common in the entertainment industry. Environment helps, as evidenced by the difference between San Francisco and LA.
