Many of Video Copilot’s tutorials revolve around the use of Andrew Kramer’s Element 3D plugin. This is a little “application” that works within After Effects that makes it incredibly easy for the user to create 3D objects without much technical skill. It’s a very enabling application that makes it very simple to create complex objects that look incredibly realistic. One tutorial that I found on VideoCopilot.net was how to create an emblem or text on the side of a car.
