I came across this new free software that helps you animate in 2D. I was trying to do something cool for my name project, and as I was searching I found Synfig, and I thought it was so cool, its a really easy tool to use, and you can even export your animations into After effects to integrate it with your other projects. Below is an example of an animation that was made using Synfig.
